From 16 October to 21 October, Tokyo will push forward its momentum in the world of fashion. Massively supported by Amazon, the Fashion Week will build on the influence that a new pioneer labels have developed for Japanese fashion overseas.
Following the footsteps of historical leaders Comme des Garçons and Issey Miyake, the two brands Sacai and Undercover are currently establishing their global authority thanks to collaborations with the most coveted retailers. This past month alone, Sacai was invited to occupy Colette with a pop-up store called Jardin Sacai, which we mentioned here.
The two brands Sacai x Undercover will run a unique joint show on Friday 20 October.

Other highlights that week will include shows from TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The SoloIst (16 October) and Toga (17 October), both increasingly renowned among savvy buyers such as Haven in Toronto.
Adidas collaboration partner Hyke, who develop super contemporary womenswear approach, will show on 19 October.
Among emerging labels, one should keep an eye on Dressed Undressed, Discovered and Mikio Sakabe.
Finally, cult and hyperactive Danish designer Henrik Vibskov will also show on 16 October.
